Premier League
- Arsenal produced one of the greatest ever the most unsuccessful and weakest performances of this season and was deservedly punished for it on the turgid Brenford ground. Although the match ended with a 1:1 draw, which is certainly a loss for Arsenal, so the Spanish manager's charges could have gone home empty-handed.
- Arsenal's lead at the top of the Premier League has shrunk from six points to four. However, as he announced Declan Rice in one of the post-match interviews, Arsenal still hold the top spot in the league table and despite the fact that the points gap has narrowed, the north Londoners have their fate in their own hands. The English midfielder reminded that it is necessary to look ahead and added that the atmosphere remains very positive.
- Going into the second half of the game at Brentford after a short injury, he jumped back in Martin Ødegaard, but unfortunately, once again. probably caused another injury. He was able to finish the match, but was not included in the nomination for the next FA Cup match. The question remains whether the captain of the team was deliberately given time off to fully heal his injuries or whether he was unable to start. We have no choice but to hope it is the former.
FA Cup
- A very dominant performance in the first half, which Arsenal players decorated with four accurate shots, was the basis for the success of advancing to the next stage of the FA Cup. Trustees Mikel Arteta's will next appear in the eighth round. We should find out who Arsenal will play tonight (16 February 2026) before Macclesfield play Brentford.
