Tommy Setford

Despite being born in the Dutch city of Haarlem, Tommy Setford is an English citizen. The talented goalkeeper therefore represented England during his career in the youth categories. It was from the Netherlands, specifically Ajax Amesterdam, that he headed to Arsenal in the summer transfer window of 2024. The young Englishman joined the youth academy upon his arrival in north London, but still managed to make his debut in the A team goal. Setford made his first start for Arsenal in the EFL Cup at the hands of second division side Preston North End. His debut in the jersey with the Canon on his chest will certainly be fondly remembered. Arsenal won the match comfortably 3-0 and the young goalkeeper also scored his first clean sheet. From the 2025/2026 season Tommy Setford should be a full member of the A team.
