Eberechi Eze made one of the most spicy transfers in England in recent times with his move to Arsenal. Arsenal's interest has been talked about for quite some time, but no concrete offer has come and gone. Arsenal's biggest rival, Tottenham, has therefore entered the race for the services of the English midfielder. When after a few days of negotiations everything looked like Eze would move from Crystal Palace to Tottenham, Arsenal came back into the fray. The Canaries' management negotiated the transfer of the Crystal Palace star within just a few hours, and Eberechi Eze finally moved to the red part of North London. For the player himself, the transfer was a childhood dream come true. Eze had never made a secret of his affection for Arsenal, from where he was released in the youth categories. Now Eze has returned to the scene of the crime. And it certainly wasn't for free. Arsenal had to send a sum of £60 million (+£7.5 million in bonuses) to the coffers of nearby Crystal Palace for his services.
