When Declan Rice moved from West Ham to Arsenal in the summer of 2023 for a sum in excess of the magical £100 million, many experts doubted his qualities in the context of the amount paid. However, the England international silenced all the critics and doubters pretty quickly with his performances. Immediately after his arrival, he became the mainstay of the Canaries' midfield and with every game he played, his performance grew. In his first season in north London, he showed everyone why Mikel Arteta so eager to profit from it.
