Goals, goals and more goals. That's the calling card of the Swedish striker, who was on a shooting spree for Sporting Lisbon before his move to Arsenal. And that's exactly what the Canaries' fans, and certainly the Mikel Arteta. Among his greatest strengths, apart from scoring goals, are his huge dedication, physical fitness, but also his speed. In a way he reminds me a lot of Jamie Vardy, although they are not typologically identical footballers. However, both are adorned with superior combativeness and raw hunger for goals. And that, in my opinion, is exactly what Arsenal have lacked in recent years. Not every situation has to end in a montage of the season's finest moments, sometimes you need to get the ball in the net at all costs. Just a little digression. In the 2024/2025 season, I was lucky enough to see Gyökers play with my own eyes in a Champions League match just against Arsenal. Although Arsenal hardly let their Portuguese opponents get anywhere, the Swedish striker had a few moments in the match that definitely convinced me that he would be an absolutely perfect choice for Arsenal. My desires have been answered, and so I can only hope that Gyökeres picks up where he left off at Sporting in a Canaries jersey.
