Last week Arsenal failed to score in the thirty-first round preliminary match at the ground of last Wolverhampton, where they only drew 2:2. A loss against the last team in the table means an absolutely unnecessary complication in the fight for the league title. Now Arsenal footballers can do nothing about it, so they have to concentrate on their next matches. Fortunately, the charges Mikel Arteta's they were able to react to the unexpected stumble in the first game they had on the schedule. And they responded in the best possible way. Premier League

  • Arsenal failed to win at the ground of hopelessly last Wolverhampton, where they only drew 2:2. The Gunners' league record since the beginning of the new calendar year was below average after the match with Wolves. Out of eight games played, Mikel Arteta's charges have only managed to win three times, on four other occasions the match ended in a points division and once Arsenal left the match empty-handed. The Gunners have narrowly missed out on these league numbers improved by winning the North London Derby, from which they took all three points after a dominant performance.
  • Against Wolverhampton, your first goal in an Arsenal jersey scored by the Ecuadorian defender Piero Hincapié.
  • Eberechi Eze in the match at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium scored twice, and added two more goals to his hat-trick from the first meeting in the North London rival. The England international has a total of two goals for Arsenal this season. 7 goals scored with 5 of them going into the Spurs net.
  • Eberechi Eze wasn't the only two-goal scorer in the Tottenham-Arsenal match. Two goals were also scored by Viktor Gyökeres. And it was thanks to the second accurate shot that the Swedish striker became the first Arsenal player to scored double-digit goals (10) in the current Premier League season. For his good performance crowned with two goals, Gyökeres took home the player of the match award. In all competitions, we have seen the iconic goal celebration of the big Swede fifteen times.
  • After a minor knee injury he picked up in the Brentford game, with returned to the lineup Martin Ødegaard. The Norwegian playmaker popped up for the last quarter of an hour of the game at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, in which he even managed to assist on Viktor Gyökeres' goal.
  • Arsenal beat their biggest rivals home and away, both derbies ended in clear Arsenal wins 4-1. Is there anything to add to this? Perhaps only what everyone already knows all too well... North London is RED!

Other

  • Bukayo Saka during the week signed a new long-term contract, which is valid until by 2031. After signing a new contract, the England international has reportedly become the highest paid player with a salary in excess of £300,000 a week.
  • The Gunners will have a looser schedule next week for the first time in a long time. To be precise, the north London footballers will play their next competitive match „only“ at the weekend, when The 28th round of the Premier League sees them welcome neighbouring Chelsea to Emirates Stadium.
  • Arsenal until the end of the league season exactly 10 games to play.
