Arsenal have had a big week. In particular, the league win at Brighton could be worth gold in the final tally. Why? Arsenal, after a not very footballing performance, earned three points and once again came one step closer to their dream goal. At the same time, in a match played in parallel, Manchester City failed to beat Nottingham, who they only drew with, at the Etihad Stadium. Mikel Arteta's charges therefore increased their lead at the top of the table to 7 points after the last round. Cityzens still have a game to play, but it doesn't change the fact that after the last round their gap to Arsenal has grown by two points. The FA Cup was on the agenda at the weekend, in which Arsenal headed to the ground of third-tier Mansfield, where they fulfilled the role of favourites and advanced to the next stage of the competition. In the new week, Arsenal will first take on Bayer Leverkusen in the first Champions League knockout match and then Everton in the next round of the Premier League at the weekend.

- Unfortunately, the match did not bring only positive news. Due to health problems they had to change early Leandro Trossard and then also Riccardo Calafiori. Let's hope that it was more of a precautionary measure and that the injuries to neither of them will be serious. The next few days will tell us more.
