When the news first broke that the Japanese defender had left Arsenal Takehiro Tomiyasu, so it was to be expected that the English team's management would also focus on acquiring a new defender in the transfer market. The wait for a new defensive reinforcement did not last long. Arsenal's ranks have been expanded talented Spanish stopper Cristhian Mosquera from Valencia. Mosquera has signed for North London long-term contract until 2030.

Nobody probably expects Mosquera to become an indispensable player in the starting eleven in north London immediately after his transfer. At the position of right stopper is the clear number one William Saliba. The French defender should be a mentor for Cristhian Mosquera. The young Spaniard is just twenty-one years, and therefore it is primarily envisaged for the future. But that doesn't mean we won't see the burly central defender on the pitch, we will. It's just not likely to be that often in the early stages of his engagement.

Finally, the price and contract of the player must not be missing. Arsenal for the services of the Spanish Under-21 international paid £13 million with the understanding that the final amount may climb to £16.5 million. As you can guess, the remaining £3.5 million is part of the potential bonuses.

Welcome to the Arsenal, Cristhian!
