William Saliba has been an Arsenal tribal player since 2019, but he won't make regular appearances in the jersey with the cannon on his chest until the 2022/2023 season. Arsenal secured his services when Saliba was just 18 years old. Despite his immense talent, according to the coaching staff, the French defender wasn't ready to become a full-fledged member of the A team, so he spent his first years as a Canaries player wandering around on loan. Immediately after signing a contract in north London, he stayed until the end of the current season at St. Etienne, from where he transferred to Arsenal. The next season Saliba played in the Nice jersey and the following one in the colours of Marseille. After three seasons in the French top flight, where the lanky defender gained valuable experience, his time at Arsenal has finally come. Almost immediately he became a mainstay of the back line and a favourite of all Arsenal fans. He is now one of the best stoppers on the planet.
