Experienced defensive central midfielder Thomas Partey has moved to London Arsenal as early as 2020 from Spain's Atlético Madrid for £45 million. In hindsight, it can be said without hesitation that the signing of Thomas was a very successful move for Arsenal. Virtually immediately upon his arrival from the Spanish capital, the Ghanaian international was among the key players in the Emirates Stadium line-up Mikel Arteta's, and that's basically been true throughout his time at Arsenal. Throughout his career, Thomas has experienced a lot with the north London club, especially in the aftermath of his arrival, the Canaries didn't fare too well. However, Mikel Arteta has managed to bring back the good old Arsenal to all fans, not just with his coaching staff. Since the 2022/2023 season, the Canaries are once again one of England's top teams and regularly play in the Champions League. Just like the game, the Canaries' line-up has also stabilized. In recent years, Thomas has played in the central three Declan Rice and Captain Martin Øby degaard. Despite the fact that Thomas is definitely not the youngest player anymore, he still has a lot to offer the team. His greatest asset is his tremendous overview of the game and his often incredible calmness in tense situations.
