
Arsenal's first officially announced summer transfer will most likely not involve the offensive ranks. On the contrary. Mikel Arteta after the departure of the Brazilian veteran Neto, he's looking for a new goalkeeper. And he didn't go far for it, specifically to neighbouring Chelsea. The new addition to the north London side is expected to be Kepa Arrizabalagawho has in his contract a buy-out clause of £5 million. Arsenal management decided that, given his experience and the transfer fee, the Spanish goalkeeper would be the ideal choice for the number two position. Any personal terms between the player and his potential new employer should not be a problem, so only the formal steps of activating the clause, a medical and signing the contract are on the agenda.
