Just as in the category for the best young player of the season, the PFA will not be missing an Arsenal representative in the senior category. Among the youngsters, two Cannoneers players were nominated, namely Ethan Nwaneri and Myles Lewis-Skelly. In the main category, the North London team has only one candidate, which is Declan Rice. However, the main favourite to win an individual award from the PFA is Mohammed Salah from Liverpool. Other nominees include Alexis Mac Allister (Liverpool), Cole Palmer (Chelsea), Bruno Fernandes (Manchester United) and Alexander Isak (Newcastle).
Declan Rice made his debut for Arsenal in the Premier League last season for thirty-five gamesin which he credited 4 goals and 7 assists. Throughout the year, he delivered consistent performances that earned him a nomination for the PFA Player of the Season award.
