Information that was announced by many media at the beginning of the week, has now been officially confirmed by the club itself. Bukayo Saka has signed a new contract at Arsenal, that will run until 2031. The youngster, who has developed from an unknown academy youngster into one of the best players not only at Arsenal but in the Premier League, has linked his future with the Emirates Stadium side. According to unofficial sources, he has become Arsenal's highest paid player thanks to the signing of a new contract. He's said to be earning over £300,000 a week.
Starboy, as Sako is known by Arsenal fans, has become a modern icon in north London and one of the main faces of Arsenal today. His influence on and off the pitch is clearly evidenced by the fact that in the absence of the club captain Martin Ødegaard, ...puts the captain's armband on his sleeve. For an English footballer who is still only 24 years old, he has more than enough under his belt in terms of his football career. To date, Bukayo Saka has started 297 competitive matches for Arsenal, scoring 78 goals and providing 79 assists.
Andrea Berta, who among other things is in charge of negotiating new player contracts, is really doing the first last thing after his arrival in north London to make sure everything works as it should in this respect. After a very busy and, in my opinion, successful summer transfer period, the Arsenal management has not stopped working, quite the opposite. Contract extensions have been the order of the day. Since the summer, key players have signed new contracts William Saliba and Gabriel, but also young men Myles Lewis-Skelly and Ethan Nwaneri. Now Bukayo Saka has joined all of the above.
Here to stay!
