Gabriel Martinelli joined Arsenal before the 2019/2020 season from Brazilian team Ituano, who at that time played in the 4th highest competition there. Only 18 years old, the Brazilian was a big unknown to the vast majority of fans. Few expected the tireless youngster to immediately become a member of the A team. Martinelli arrived in north London at a time when Arsenal were generally not doing well. His heartfelt performances immediately appealed to then manager Unaie Emery, who began giving him space on the pitch despite his young age and virtually no experience of European football. The same was true after the arrival of Mikel Arteta's. Gabriel Martinelli has developed into a starting lineup player over time, mainly thanks to his attitude. The Brazilian has tremendous commitment, effort and combativeness. When it comes to the more footballing aspects of Martinelli's game, his strongest weapon is undoubtedly his speed. You won't find many players in the Premier League better equipped with speed than Gabriel Martinelli. If the Brazilian speedster can consistently play to his limits, he will be one of the best offensive players not only in the Canaries team, but in the entire competition.
